Croft House
Dr Limbery used the surgery to the right of the front door and Dr McDougall-Morrison
used the room to the left. The Garage to the right was used as a waiting
room. The secretarial space was at the back. When Dr Rees arrived in 1972
he took over Dr Limbery's room and when Dr Dowson started he took over
one of the back rooms.
Tony Elgar, the Dentist, took over the upstairs
in 1973 and then took over the whole building in December 1974 when the
Practice moved to the new Health Centre in St Mary's Road. He used it as
a home and for work until its demolition in 2005. There are several more
high quality pictures of Croft House available.
